Info: The indispensable cooperation of Renewable Carbon and Renewable Energy – 8th Conference on Carbon Dioxide as Feedstock for Fuels, Chemistry and Polymers

The transition to renewable carbon in the chemical and plastics industries is the equivalent to decarbonisation in the energy sector. This transition to alternative carbon sources is needed to fight climate change and shift towards sustainable and climate-friendly production and consumption. In order to provide the full benefits of the technologies supplying renewable carbon, all of them should run on renewable energies in order to avoid additional fossil CO2 emissions. For CCU the use of renewable energy is indispensable.

What is the strategy behind renewable carbon? How does it merge with renewable energy? How are solar and wind energy developing? Learn about this long-term vision and first steps already taken to account for the urgency of the climate crisis from the forerunning experts in this field: Session on Renewable Carbon & Renewable Energy

Over 120 participants are already registered - 200 leading international experts in CO2 utilisation and 20 exhibitors are expected to attend the “8th Conference on Carbon Dioxide as Feedstock for Fuels, Chemistry and Polymers”, 24-25 March 2020, in Cologne, Germany.

Don’t miss the new highlight one day before the conference: the „1st European Summit on CO2-based Aviation Fuels“. Combined tickets for both events are available.

The conference is under the patronage of Professor Dr Andreas Pinkwart, Minister of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The nova-Institute would like to thank Covestro (DE) for sponsoring the innovation award “Best CO2 Utilisation 2020” and CO2 Value Europe (EU) for the co-organisation. Enviro Ambient (US) supports the conference as a Gold Sponsor and Total (FR/BE) as a Bronze Sponsor.  We also thank our premium partner EnergieAgentur.NRW (DE) and our conference partners and media partners.

We are looking forward to seeing you at our conference.
