Info: Session on Green Hydrogen Production & Power-to-Fuels: 9th Conference on CO2-based Fuels and Chemicals
For providing the full benefits of Carbon Capture and Carbon Utilisation (Power-to-X) the use of renewable energy is indispensable. Especially the supply of green hydrogen is crucial for the production of CO2-based transportation and aviation fuels, bulk and fine chemicals.
A large number of European cross-sectoral projects for hydrogen production via large-scale electrolysers have been announced recently. The European Commission launched a 400 Billion hydrogen strategy for the full energy transition to renewable energies, as well as for the further use of hydrogen in innovations and technologies such as the production of high-volume synthetic fuels and chemicals.
The following speakers will give a global view on green hydrogen, CO2-based fuel production and integrated Power-to-Fuel projects with insights from Europe, South Africa and Brazil:

Meet the leading international experts at one of the world’s premier and most prominent conferences on Carbon Capture and Carbon Utilisation (Power-to-X).
The conference is under the patronage of Professor Dr Andreas Pinkwart, Minister of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
nova-Institute would like to thank VTT as a Gold Sponsor, COVESTRO as Silver Sponsor and Axel Semrau as Bronze Sponsor of the conference, as well as YNCORIS for sponsoring the innovation award “Best CO2 Utilisation 2021” and CO2 Value Europe for the co-organisation. We also thank our partner IASA for supporting our conference.
The final programme is available here.
