Innovation and Strategy: Conference on CO2-based Fuels and Chemicals 2022
23–24 March 2022, hybrid event, Cologne (Germany) - more than 100 participants from 17 countries registered - 200 expected https://www.co2-chemistry.eu
Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) is one of the most important options to broaden the renewable feedstock base for the future. It is one essential pillar for the supply of renewable carbon besides biomass and recycling.
We all see a lot of changes and are living in challenging times due to political developments. Epecially after facing the new situation due to war in Europe we may ask ourselves how the future will look like - is there a way of business as usual with dependencies in oil and gas supply from Russia or is the need for changes getting more and more pressure? In case of climate change and the need for reducing greenhouse gas emissions there is one clear answer: New frameworks and visions are needed to get rid of the fossil age for carbon supply and to start a more sustainable future with new technologies and new options for the fuels and chemicals production. The use of alternative feedstock sources is on the agenda of a lot of industrial players including all big industries and especially in the organic chemical industry all depends on carbon. At our two-day hybrid Conference on CO2-based Fuels and Chemicals big known and also new and leading players will showcase their visions and ways to change the industry towards CCU-based technologies and to discuss how a supporting framework for these challenges of transformations may look like. Be curious and take a look at the abstracts to get an idea of the exciting content these presentations in the session on “Innovation and Strategy”! |

Please find the preliminary program - with more than 25 international speakers - at this link. More than 200 leading international experts in Carbon Capture and Carbon Utilisation (Power-to-X) together with 20 exhibitors are expected to attend the hybrid event on 23–24 March 2022 (hybrid event, Cologne, Germany). Take a look into the near future and exchange ideas with the leading pioneers at one of the premier and most prominent events on CO2 as renewable carbon feedstock for fuels and chemicals in the world: The “Conference on CO2-based Fuels and Chemicals 2022”, 23–24 March 2022, Cologne, Germany. As a hybrid conference it combines a “live” in-person event with a “virtual” online component.
